Lahey Health is now part of Beth Israel Lahey Health

At the Lahey Health Cancer Institute (LHCI), all of our care centers focus on each patient as a distinct individual. Because no two people – and no two cancers – are exactly alike, your treatment is tailored to your particular cancer and your personal lifestyle.

We firmly believe that every person deserves a unique approach to treatment. Our personalized treatment options include tapping breakthroughs in genomic testing, precision cancer treatment, and other scientific advances, to offer you as many options as possible.

Cancer-Specific Focus

Our unique approach is further distinguished by a cancer site-specific focus. Lahey Health has cancer teams – each headed by a director-leader and including medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, surgeons, pathologists, radiologists as well as various allied healthcare providers – that specialize in specific types of cancer.

Our state-of-the-art tools and procedures, personalized treatment options, and access to innovative clinical trials can give you the certainty of knowing that you are receiving the highest standard of cancer care in the right place: your own community.

At Your Side Throughout

Patients who come to Lahey Health for cancer care will also have a personal patient navigator to help answer questions, coordinate care, manage appointment scheduling, and much more. Your navigator will be at your side throughout and is a resource you can turn to for any need you may have related to your treatment and care.

Stem Cell Transplants

Lahey Health offers autologous stem cell transplants (ASCT), a procedure in which high-dose chemotherapy is used to treat certain hematologic cancers such as multiple myeloma and certain lymphomas. A stem cell transplant “rescues” your body with an infusion of healthy blood-forming cells following high-dose chemotherapy. The infused stem cells migrate to bone marrow, where they produce blood cells that your body and immune system require.
